Professor Arpit Jariwala is a Consultant Upper Limb and Trauma Surgeon specialising in Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand injuries and disorders. Professor Jariwala works in NHS Tayside and is a Clinical Professor at University of Dundee. He consults privately at Kings Park Hospital, Stirling, at Tayside Complete Health Clinic (TCH) and Heal Health Clinic in Dundee.

Professor Jariwala completed his higher surgical training in Orthopaedics in Scotland. He became a Trauma and Orthopaedic Fellow of the College in 2011 after completing his six-year orthopaedic training in Scotland. Prof. Jariwala obtained a MCh (super-specialist) degree from the University of Dundee and won the prestigious 'Ian Smillie Award' for the best overall student for the year. In 2016 he completed a MD at the University of Dundee investigating the kinematics of Shoulder Replacement. Prof. Jariwala further developed his expertise in the management of upper limb injuries and conditions at the world-renowned tertiary referral unit at Wrightington Hospital in Wigan.

His clinical practice focuses exclusively on the treatment and management of conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow and wrist and hand. In addition, Professor Jariwala also specialises in the treatment of shoulder and humerus fractures, clavicle fractures, radial head fractures, elbow fractures and wrist fracture and also reviews patient who have on-going issues post-fracture after they have been discharged. Professor Jariwala is especially consulted for second opinion for challenging upper limb cases or for patients where diagnosis is uncertain or has been missed.
