DIRECTOR, PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Lynne is one of the Directors of Heal Physiotherapy. After qualifying in 1998, she worked locally within the NHS before moving to New Zealand, where she spent five years developing her expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Following her return to Scotland in 2004, she and Sally co-founded Heal Physiotherapy.

Lynne has extensive experience working with sports teams both locally and across Europe as a travelling physiotherapist. She works with the SportScotland Institute of sport, supporting athletes in achieving their goals at both national and international level.  She also supports her son's rugby team on pitchside, complete with medical kit and a loud voice!

She became an accredited McKenzie Institute Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy Practitioner in 2002 while living in New Zealand, and is also qualified in acupuncture, which she incorporates into her physiotherapy treatments.

Known for her positive and caring approach, Lynne focuses treatment on helping people return to, or continue doing, the activities that are important to them, enabling them to live life to the fullest.

Lynne balances her clinical caseload with teaching Pilates and running the business.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, exploring Scotland together.

Lynne is also a founding trustee of Freddie's Ataxia Fund, reflecting her passion for supporting others and making a positive impact beyond her work in physiotherapy.
